What’s the Weather Forecast for this Wednesday in the Canary Islands?

Cloudy skies will prevail this Wednesday in the northern part of the islands, where occasional scattered light rains may occur, according to the Aemet.

In the sea, northeast winds of force 4 or 5, reaching force 5 or 6 further offshore in the northwest and southeast. Rough seas, very rough seas further offshore in the northwest and southeast. Close to the northeast coast, northeast winds of 2 to 4 and slight swell. Northerly swell of 1 to 2 meters on the northwest coast. Southwest coast, variable winds of 1 to 3 with breezes, and calm or slight swell.

ISLANDS FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY:

Cloudy skies will be predominant, decreasing to partly cloudy in the afternoon. Occasional scattered light rains are possible in the north. Maximum temperatures slightly decreasing, minimums unchanged. Moderate trade winds with some strong intervals in inland areas in the afternoon.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Arrecife 17 24

Cloudy skies will prevail, decreasing to partly cloudy in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures slightly decreasing, minimums unchanged. Moderate trade winds, with some strong intervals in the west and south of Jandía during the central hours.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Puerto del Rosario 18 23

In the north and northeast, mainly cloudy skies with a chance of occasional light rain and some sunny spells in the afternoon. In other areas, mostly clear with occasional cloudy intervals in the south. Minimum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing. Decreasing maximums, moderate in inland areas and light on coasts. Moderate trade winds, with intervals of strong winds and low probability of occasional very strong gusts locally on southeast and northwest summits and slopes.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 18 21

Cloudy skies in the north, south, and west slopes, with possible occasional light rain in the north, unlikely in the south and west. Partly cloudy skies on the east slope. Clear skies on high peaks. Minimum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing. Maximum temperatures decreasing, moderate in midlands and peaks, and light to moderate on coasts. Moderate trade winds, with intervals of strong winds and low probability of occasional very strong gusts on the east slope, extreme northwest and on midlands facing south of the metropolitan area. Winds on the west coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Santa Cruz de Tenerife 18 23

In the north and inland areas, mostly cloudy skies with possible occasional light rain, some occasional clear spells on coasts in the afternoon. Partly cloudy intervals elsewhere. Temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing, especially in maximums of midlands and peaks. Moderate trade winds, with some strong intervals and low probability of occasional very strong gusts on peaks and slopes east and northwest during the night. Breezes on southwest coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): San Sebastián de La Gomera 20 23

In the north and east, mainly cloudy skies with possible occasional light rain, some sun may break through on coasts in the afternoon. Clear skies on high peaks. Partly cloudy intervals elsewhere. Minimum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing. Moderately decreasing maximum temperatures. Moderate trade winds, with some strong intervals in extreme southeast and northwest during the night. Breezes on west coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Santa Cruz de La Palma 17 21

Partly cloudy skies, denser in the north where there is a low probability of occasional light rain. Temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing. Moderate trade winds, with intervals of strong winds on peaks, southeast slope and extreme northwest during the night. Breezes on southwest coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C): Valverde 14 17
