Tomorrow, as part of the May Festival, the town of Los Realejos in Tenerife will be hosting one of the most significant events in its festive calendar – the traditional Pilgrimage of the Girl. This celebration coincides with the feast day of the patron saint of agriculture, San Isidro Labrador.
The festivities will kick off with a mass at 7:00 p.m. at the Parroquia Matriz del Apóstol Santiago, accompanied by the lively Parranda Chiguet de Los Realejos. Following the Eucharist, a procession will take place, honouring the saint on a pilgrimage route.
The procession will pass through prominent streets such as Avenida de Los Remedios, Camino Viejo de San Benito, Calle Piloto, Calle El Adelantado, Calle San Isidro (reaching the area known as Villa Arriba), before returning to the starting point via Avenida de Los Remedios. The festivities will commence at the starting point, marking the beginning of a joyous celebration.
