Last night, Daniela García Rodríguez was chosen as the Romera Mayor for the May 2024 Festivities in Los Realejos, representing the El Horno Festivities Commission.
The ceremony, held in Viera y Clavijo square on Saturday, saw the participation of 11 other candidates representing various social, cultural, and neighbourhood organisations in the municipality:

The evening showcased the theatrical performance Exodus, paying homage to the Canarian ancestors who emigrated to Venezuelan lands, forging cultural bonds that endure to this day.
The show featured actors Silvia Criado, Daniel Tejera, and Álvaro Hernández Díaz, along with a performance by the Yacambú dance group, directed by Kiryl Pérez, and music led by Samuel Fumero and his ensemble ‘Sentimos May’.
