SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10th May. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A young girl was moderately affected when she was rescued showing signs of drowning from a pool at a tourist facility in Arona, on the island of Tenerife, according to reports from the Canary Islands’ Emergency and Security Coordinating Center, 112.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon, and the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) responded to a call reporting that a girl had fallen into a pool at a tourist complex and exhibited signs of drowning.
Upon arrival at the location, SUC staff confirmed the signs of drowning in the young girl. They continued the cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures initiated by the callers and successfully stabilized her condition before transferring her to Hospiten Sur.
Local Police officers also attended the scene and carried out necessary procedures.
