Santa Cruz rejoices. The city commemorates 530 years since its establishment and, as part of the jubilation, the customary magicians’ dance last Friday was an indispensable part of honouring its customs.
The streets of the capital were thronged with masses of people adorned in traditional attire making their way towards the vicinity of La Noria Street, until they joined the 13,000 magicians who rejoiced on the momentous day of the founding festivities.
