WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE CANARY ISLANDS | What to expect this Saturday in the Canary Islands?

Clear skies and rising temperatures will prevail this Saturday in Canary Islands, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency.

In the sea, there will be northeast winds of force 4 to 5 increasing to 6 further offshore from the early hours in the northwest and southeast coasts. Moderate to strong swell. Elsewhere, winds will be variable force 1 to 3, slight swell. Northerly swell of 1 to 2 meters.

ISLANDS’ FORECAST FOR SATURDAY:

Expect mostly clear or sunny skies, except in the early hours of the day in the north and northeast, below 600 to 700 meters, where intervals of clouds are expected. Temperatures remaining unchanged or slightly rising, especially in mid-altitude areas and mountain peaks, where maximum temperatures will locally see moderate increases. Moderate northeasterly winds, with strong gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes, as well as on the western tip. On mountaintops, light variable winds, mainly from the east. Sea breezes on the southwest coasts.

EXPECTED MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES (°C):

Mainly clear or sunny skies with some cloudy intervals on the northern coast at the beginning. Temperatures remaining unchanged or slightly rising, mainly in the maximum temperatures of inland areas. Moderate northeasterly winds.

Arrecife 15 26

Mostly clear or sunny skies. Temperatures mostly stable. Moderate northeasterly winds.

Moderate northeasterly winds, with strong gusts on the southeast slope and the northwest tip. On central high peaks, light variable winds from the east. Sea breezes on the west coasts.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife 18 24

Mostly clear or sunny skies, except in the early hours of the day in the north, below 700 to 800 meters, where some cloudy intervals are expected. Temperatures remaining unchanged or slightly rising, especially in mid-altitude areas and peaks where the increases could be locally moderate. Moderate northeasterly winds, with strong gusts on the eastern and northwestern slopes. Light to moderate easterly winds on the peaks. Sea breezes on the southern coasts.
