This evening, at 7:00 p.m., a Mass will be held in celebration of the Day of the Cross at the Las Toscas field, featuring musical performances by the Teguaco Group. Following the Mass, special recognition will be given to Loterías Bazar y Modas Casa Félix and Don Mateo Rodríguez García for their contributions to the neighbourhood and municipality over the past 60 years. The evening will conclude with the traditional toast accompanied by lively festivities.
Tomorrow, on Saturday, the focus will shift to the little ones with the Girls’ and Boys’ Festival taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Las Toscas field. Later, at 9:00 p.m., the highly anticipated magician’s dance will light up the San Marcos square, providing an unforgettable night for all attendees.
Starting at 10:30 p.m., the magician’s dance will feature performances by El Viejo Cafetín party, Orquesta Revelación and Orquesta Generación, ensuring a night of enchantment and entertainment.
Participants are reminded that the festival has a dress code requiring typical Canarian attire to be worn.
XXXIV Regional Drag Championship
On Sunday, May 5th, the IES Tegueste pavilion will kick off the day at 9:00 a.m. with the San Marcos Tournament of the Municipal Handball School. Meanwhile, at 11:00 a.m., the Finca de Los Zamorano will host the XXXIV Regional Drag Championship and a thrilling exhibition and competition featuring sporting pigeons from the Alparu Club of Tegueste.
In the evening, at 5:00 p.m., all eyes will be on the Mencey wrestling arena in Tegueste as it prepares to host the San Marcos Canarian wrestling tournament, an event that is eagerly anticipated every year.
