Authorities from the Canary Islands Police have apprehended an individual in El Tanque in connection with an incident involving the sexual assault of a 44-year-old woman.
The arrest took place following a confrontation that ensued due to the suspected sexual assault during a festival in the aforementioned municipality of Tenerife.
The operational response unit of the Canarian Police carried out the arrest and subsequently handed over the individual to the Civil Guard. The regional security entity detailed this information on their social media platforms.
