Firefighters from the Tenerife Tenerife Consortium at the Tomé Cano station intervened in a traffic accident that occurred on Monday afternoon on the Santa Cruz access motorway in Tenerife by the Refinery (TF-4), near the connection with the Southern motorway (TF-1).
According to information provided by the first responders, two civil traffic guards were signalling that a truck was broken down. A second truck then arrived and collided with the parked patrol vehicle.
Reportedly, as a result of the collision, the two traffic officers sustained minor injuries. They only suffered minor whiplash. However, the impact caused the Civil Guard car to be displaced about 20 metres from where it was parked.

Upon arrival at the scene, in addition to firefighters, medical personnel from a mobile intensive care unit and another from basic life support of the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), civil traffic guards, and local police officers from the Tenerife capital were present.
