Investigation Launched by the Civil Guard into the Discovery of a Woman’s Body on the Tenerife Coast

An investigation has been initiated by the Civil Guard following the discovery, yesterday afternoon, of the deceased body of a woman on the coastline of the Arico municipality in Tenerife, according to official sources from the Armed Institute as reported by Europa Press.

Apparently, the body was spotted floating in the sea, prompting the Organic Unit of the Civil Guard’s Judicial Police and the Territorial Team of the Judicial Police in South Tenerife to commence investigations into the incident.

Local media reports suggest that the woman’s body was discovered with a plastic bag covering her head. The Court of First Instance and Investigation in Granadilla de Abona, overseeing the case, has imposed a confidentiality order on the proceedings.
