SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27th April. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 14-year-old adolescent is in serious condition after being involved in an accident with a scooter on the General Highway of Punta del Hidalgo, in the town of La Laguna, Tenerife, according to reports from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes). 1-1-2.
The incident happened just after 12:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operations center received a request for medical help for an individual who had been in a scooter accident, prompting Cecoes to immediately mobilise necessary emergency services.
Upon arrival, SUC personnel evaluated and assisted the injured person, who was then taken to the Canary Islands University Hospital in critical condition due to severe head injuries. The Local Police conducted the appropriate investigation.
