SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27th April. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A man aged 58 was wounded in a traffic incident that took place on Saturday on the main southern highway (TF-28) at the Chayofa junction in the municipality of Arona, Tenerife, as communicated by the Emergency Coordination Center and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
At approximately 10:00 a.m., the 1-1-2 operational department was notified of a collision involving a car and a bicycle. Consequently, Cecoes promptly enlisted the essential emergency resources to respond to the situation.
Upon arrival, SUC staff attended to the cyclist, who was then transported to Hospital del Sur for treatment of moderate injuries, with no further complications. The Civil Guard managed traffic on the route, filed the necessary reports, and the Road Maintenance Service personnel undertook road cleaning operations.
