A fourteen-year-old boy is currently in a critical state after being involved in a scooter mishap on the main road of Punta del Hidalgo, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The emergency call came in at approximately 12:30, alerting authorities that a person had been struck.
Upon receiving the call, 1-1-2 promptly mobilised the necessary emergency services. Medical professionals assessed and provided assistance to the young individual. Subsequently, the minor, who had suffered a severe head injury, was stabilised and then transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
