Cuna del Alma is a tourist complex under construction in El Puertito de Adeje. Last February, the Government of the Canary Islands revoked the decision to halt the works due to the environmental impact report and a fine of 110,000 Euros. Two other suspension orders have expired and are pending final resolution.
Regarding the hotel being constructed in La Tejita, the developer resumed work on February 26th. This project was halted in May 2021 by order of the Ministry of Ecological Transition of the Government of the Canary Islands, a decision overturned by the Canary Islands High Court (TSJC) on July 17, 2023, declared final on December 18 last year. Last week, several activists entered the area where the works are taking place and the company halted the works.
