The reservations for tables at the highly anticipated Santa Cruz Magician’s Ball were gone in just a quarter of an hour. Despite the increase in prices, the people of Santa Cruz didn’t want to miss out on one of the year’s most significant events.
Starting at 9:30 a.m., the 700 tables (each with seating for 10) were made available for purchase, be it online or in person, priced at 15 Euros. Each individual was allowed to reserve a maximum of two tables.
The traditional venue for the magical evening is set amidst the streets of Antonio Domínguez Alfonso (La Noria), Calle Nifú-Nifá, Campo Castro, Calle Bravo Murillo, in addition to the squares of Europa and the Church of the Conception. The area will be cordoned off, and entry can be gained at no cost through designated checkpoints, where adherence to the traditional Canarian attire will be ensured.
Dazzling dance performances will grace the stages set up in Plaza de Europa and Campo Castro, commencing at 10:00 p.m. with an array of folklore groups. Over at the Charco de la Casona stage, adjacent to the Cabo Bridge, a traditional festive ambience will be created with various popular orchestras taking the spotlight from midnight onwards.
