SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 20th April –
A teenage boy of 16 is currently in critical condition after being struck around 10:00 p.m. last Friday at a crosswalk on Carretera del Botánico, located in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife).
As reported by the Coordination Centre for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112, the young lad sustained serious head injuries. He received immediate care from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and was transported by a medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Local Police officers of Puerto de la Cruz were responsible for carrying out the necessary procedures at the scene.
