An exhibition of artworks by young artists known as ‘Merkarte’ is being showcased at the Goma of Modern Art Gallery in Adeje, organized by the Cabildo of Tenerife. The exhibition will be open to the public until the 13th of June, according to Youth Minister, Serafín Mesa. Mesa emphasized the Cabildo’s commitment to nurturing young artists and aiding them in establishing their careers.
“Merkarte provides young people with the necessary resources and assistance to pursue their artistic passions and carve a path in the art world. We aim to give the youth of Tenerife the opportunity to follow their passions and find happiness through their art, right here in our region,” stated the councillor.
The selection of artists for this exhibition was made from participants in the Merkarte Christmas art market, with the gallery’s curators also inviting notable artists to showcase their work.
