A bus owned by Sierra y González SA caught ablaze earlier this Tuesday on the TF-1 motorway, near Parque La Reina, in San Miguel de Abona. The bus was completely engulfed in flames, as reported by Diario de Noticias.
Drivers were taken aback by the thick smoke billowing from the burning bus, resulting in significant traffic delays on the motorway.
As per the aforementioned media outlet, the fire may have started on land owned by the company, adjacent to the composting facility that suffered a fire last January.
Firefighters are currently at the scene working to extinguish the blaze.
