A young man, aged 25, tragically lost his life on Tuesday following a sea rescue due to cardiorespiratory arrest while swimming at Troya beach, in Adeje (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center 112.
Upon receiving a distress call that lifeguards at Troya beach had pulled an individual from the sea in cardiorespiratory arrest, emergency services rushed to the scene to assist and perform resuscitation efforts.
Responders from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), including an ambulance, a doctor, and a nurse from the Los Cristianos health center, worked tirelessly to resuscitate the victim to no avail, ultimately confirming his passing.
Additionally, the Local Police cooperated with emergency services while the National Police oversaw the deceased’s body until the arrival of the judicial authorities.
