Night works are set to take place on the TF-13 highway between La Laguna and Tacoronte and the TF-16 towards Tejina, announced by the Cabildo of Tenerife’s Highways department. The works will commence on Sunday, 14th April, and will run until Thursday, 18th April, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The improvements on the TF-13 highway between La Laguna and Tacoronte will cover the stretch between kilometer points 16+200 and 17+800, while on the TF-16 road to Tejina, it will be from kilometer points 0+000 to 7+000.
During the works, a temporary one-way street controlled by traffic lights will be implemented between kilometer points 16+200 and 17+800 of the TF-13, alongside a no-parking rule along the affected section. The upgrades will focus on pavement restoration, enhancing bus stops, vehicle containment systems, and pedestrian safety.
Drivers are urged by the Island Council to exercise caution, follow guidance from Highway Operators, and adhere to traffic signs while navigating through the affected area during the construction period.
