The Carnival is now behind us and the costumes are already packed away. Easter Week has also passed, and the church processions are awaiting the new celebration of the Passion of Jesus in a year. What is next for Canarias, before bringing out the swimsuit again, is to dust off the wizard costumes and start thinking about gofio. Indeed, the year from now on leaves a calendar of pilgrimages throughout Tenerife.

Tegueste is the reference municipality in this popular Canarian festival. The event program in the northern town of the island is one of the most anticipated, and its pilgrimage is one of the most crowded. Moreover, it is the first of the major pilgrimages in Tenerife.

But it is not the only one with a large following. Throughout the rest of the year, these types of events will take place in every corner of Tenerife until the calendar ends in October. These are all the scheduled dates for this 2024:
