SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10th April – EUROPA PRESS
A man aged 71 sustained serious injuries today following a knife attack in La Matanza.
The incident took place just before 12:30 p.m. when an alert was raised to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Canary Islands government, requesting medical assistance for a man who had been stabbed on Benavides Street.
Health professionals from SUC attended to the victim and provided necessary care. After being stabilized, the man was urgently transported in critical condition by ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital (HUC).
The Civil Guard initiated the necessary procedures with support from the Local Police and other emergency services.
