A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital in critical condition after colliding with a car in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The impact pushed him onto the tram platform where he got trapped.
The incident occurred on Friday night on the Rosario road and the motorcyclist was transported by an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service to the University Hospital Our Lady of Candelaria, as reported by the Coordinating Centre for Emergencies and Security 112.
Firefighters were called to the scene to free the motorcyclist trapped under the tram so he could receive medical attention.
