SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 5th April. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 55-year-old man was found to be moderately affected after being rescued from the sea on a beach in Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife, displaying symptoms of exhaustion, as announced by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon at El Médano beach, situated in Granadilla de Abona municipality. The Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) responded promptly upon receiving the rescue alert, assessing that the individual exhibited signs of moderate exhaustion. Consequently, he was evacuated to Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.
Local Police officers arrived at the scene as well to collaborate with other emergency services and complete the necessary reports.
