SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 3rd April. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A male and a female have sustained injuries in a road incident that took place today, Wednesday, on the Autopista del Sur (TF-1), at the entrance to the Güímar Industrial Estate, in the municipality of Arafo (Tenerife), according to reports from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident happened around 8:40 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operational centre received a call reporting the collision of two vehicles on TF-1, resulting in significant traffic delays, prompting Cecoes to promptly mobilise the necessary emergency resources to respond to the situation.
Upon arrival at the scene, SUC personnel assessed and provided aid to the two individuals affected. The man was experiencing moderate neck discomfort and was consequently taken to the Güímar Health Center, while the woman sustained moderate facial injuries and was transported to the Ntra. Sra. De Candelaria University Hospital.
