The professional association of Human Resources in the Canary Islands, GEHOCAN, in collaboration with the Adeje City Council and Siam Mall Shopping Centre, are organising the 5th Job Dating Employment Fair on 11th April, bringing together over fifty companies with a clear goal: to find talent.
GEHOCAN President, Sonia Martínez, highlights the importance of Job Dating for management teams as it has become, she insists, “the leading job fair in the Canary Islands where companies and potential candidates meet. It is a unique opportunity and a must-attend event for those seeking proactive and dynamic individuals, on one hand; and, on the other hand, for those looking for employment or aiming to improve their conditions.”
In line with this, and with the aim of optimizing resources in job and talent search, recruiters from some of the participating companies will conduct express interviews where interested individuals will have the opportunity to showcase their potential.

It is a direct format, “where personal selection experts sit in front of potential workers to discover and assess their abilities, and on the other hand, employees have the opportunity to make an impact on recruiters by showcasing their capabilities,” explained Martínez.
These are dynamic and quick interviews that also help improve skills in the job search process. “Interacting with recruiters helps enhance the necessary skills and chances of accessing the job market. This feedback from HR professionals can be greatly beneficial both personally and professionally,” highlighted GEHOCAN’s President.
