
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 30 March (EUROPA PRESS) –
Local Police officers in Santa Cruz de Tenerife found a group of tourists camping inside the Pijaral Integral Reserve during their patrols in the Anaga Rural Park and subsequently removed them from the area.
According to a statement released by the Local Police’s press office, the Integral Reserve is a location with specific protections in place due to its environmental significance and the high quality of its laurel forest, making camping prohibited in this area.
The tourists were identified, a report was filed, and the violation was reported to the environmental department of the Cabildo de Tenerife. They were instructed to pack up their belongings and were escorted out of the Reserve.
