The Candelaria Town Hall has announced that as of this Good Friday the Pascual Nativity scene can be visited, showcasing scenes of the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus in the Plaza of the Cultural Centre of La Villa. More figures will be added to this nativity scene in the upcoming days.
Maintaining the existing structure of the nativity scene, which includes all the villages of Candelaria, Jerusalem has been recreated with Hebrew houses, the Temple, Herod’s Palace, Pilate’s Palace, the house of Caiaphas, the Praetorium, the Last Supper room, the tomb, Golgotha, and the resurrection with the gate of Jerusalem through which Jesus enters on a donkey.
