The Tenerife B team, leaders of the Canarian group in the Tercera RFEF, saw two points slip away from them in the overtime of the match that pitted them against Arucas at the Manuel Pablo Sports Complex in Bañaderos (1-1). The white and blue reserve team, which took the lead early on with Salifo’s goal, showed great superiority over the Arucas team throughout the 90 minutes; however, the Gran Canarian team, in one of their few attacks, equalised through Ale Frieh in the 93rd minute.

A good start to the match for the Tenerife team. The reserve team quickly took the lead. A cross from Cacho was finished by Salifo as he stretched to send the ball to the far post of the goal defended by Álvaro.

The early goal did not stop the white and blue team from continuing to dominate, however, Arucas tried to equalise in the middle of the first half with a long-range shot from Aníbal that missed the target.

In a new attack from the visiting team, around the half-hour mark, ended with a high header from Salifo. This same player, minutes later, delivered a ball into the box for Fabricio to shoot and beat the local goalkeeper Álvaro, but he was met by an Arucas defender who cleared the ball off the line.

Five minutes into the second half, Tenerife B came close to a second goal, after a cross from Dylan on the right side was headed over by the ever-present Salifo.

Another cross from Dylan, just past the hour mark, was almost capitalised on by Lie, who shot wide from the small area. With ten minutes remaining, it was goalkeeper Álvaro who prevented Arucas from going 0-2 down, with a low save to deflect another attempt from Salifo.

When everything seemed to point towards a victory for Tenerife B, in stoppage time, the Gran Canarian team took advantage of their first clear opportunity of the second half to level the score at the Manuel Pablo Sports Complex in Bañaderos. Ale Frieh dribbled past his marker and unleashed a shot that found the top corner of the goal defended by Moha Ramos. The leaders ended up without two points they had in hand.
