Violent Robbery in El Médano Leads to Arrest of Three Men with 17,000 Euros in Losses



Three individuals have been apprehended by Civil Guard officers from the Main Post of Granadilla de Abona, in the southern region of Tenerife, for forcefully entering a service station in El Médano. The robbery involved intimidation and violence, resulting in the theft of a safe containing lottery tickets and cash totalling 17,000 Euros.

Upon becoming aware of the criminal activities, the Civil Guard initiated an investigation, aided by input from the public. Through this collaboration, sufficient evidence was gathered to shed light on the crime.

Subsequently, the authorities managed to apprehend the trio and recover various tools used in the robbery from their hotel room. These items included balaclavas, dark clothing, gloves, glasses, a firearm, cartridges, a knife, and some of the stolen items alongside cash.

The suspects, alongside the seized evidence, have been handed over to the Guard Court of Granadilla de Abona and the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
