SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
Law enforcement officers from the Main Post of Granadilla de Abona have apprehended three men who are suspected of forcefully entering a petrol station in El Médano (Granadilla de Abona), where they stole a safe containing items including lottery tickets and cash, totalling 17,000 euros, through the use of intimidation and violence.
Following the criminal act, an investigation was launched by the Civil Guard in collaboration with the public, resulting in the collection of necessary evidence to elucidate the crime.
Consequently, the authorities were able to arrest the trio and retrieve various items found in their hotel room, believed to have been used in the robbery, such as masks, dark clothing, gloves, eyewear, a firearm, cartridges, and a knife, along with some of the stolen objects and cash.
The suspects, along with the seized items, have been remanded to the Guard Court of Granadilla de Abona and the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
