SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 23rd March (EUROPA PRESS) –
This Sunday, the Sala Cámara at the Tenerife Auditorium will come alive with the vibrant melodies of the Primavera Musical cycle. The event will showcase the talents of music bands Ernesto Beteta from Santa Úrsula, Friends of the Art of San Andrés from Santa Cruz, and the San Miguel de Abona band.
The Tenerife Federation of Music Bands, in collaboration with the Island Council, is the driving force behind this musical celebration, set to kick off at 11:30 a.m.
Leading the performances will be the Ernesto Beteta Musical-Cultural Association of Santa Úrsula, under the baton of Miguel Ángel Expósito Marrero.
With a rich history spanning over three decades, the group has curated a diverse repertoire featuring works such as La Fallera by Valencian composer Ferrer Ferrán, For a Head by the Argentine Carlos Gardel, and The Pilgrim’s Shadow by José Luis Peiró.
Following them, the Protective Society of the Friends of the Art of San Andrés Music Band, originating in 1967, will grace the Chamber Hall stage under the direction of Juan Antonio Domínguez Martín.
Their performance will include the pasodoble The Last Romantic by Reveriano Soutullo and Juan Bautista Vert, the King Arthur suite by Kees Schoonenbeek, culminating with the soundtrack of Main Theme From Exodus by Ernest Gold.
Bringing the evening to a close will be the San Miguel de Abona music band, directed by Marvin Federico Martín Pérez, presenting enthralling pieces like the Galician pasodoble Puenteareas by Reveriano Soutullo, and Sajelbon by José Alberto Pineapple.
