The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has taken the decision to activate a pre-alert for rainfall and storms, following the island’s alert declaration by the Government of the Canary Islands.

In light of the recent intensification of adverse weather conditions, the Municipal Emergency Plan (PEMU) has been activated under a pre-alert status, as informed by the City Council, which advises the suspension of outdoor activities.

Furthermore, it is recommended to refrain from travelling, inspect the overall condition of drains and downspouts, and take precautionary measures in underground garages.
