The roads of the Canary Islands are plagued with reckless driving incidents. Despite the ongoing campaigns by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) to promote safe driving practices. However, there are still numerous motorists who show negligence and put both their own lives and the lives of others at risk, as seen recently in the Canary Islands.
An alarming incident took place on the TF-1. A driver abruptly changed lanes, disregarded a solid line, and took an exit at Las Chafiras, located in the southern region of Tenerife.
A bystander witnessed and captured the incident on video, which has since gone viral on multiple social media platforms and instant messaging apps. The footage shows how a white van crossed two solid lines to make the exit on the mentioned highway without having to detour as per normal driving rules.
