SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 15th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 77-year-old man has been moderately affected following a fire that erupted in his residence located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as communicated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident took place at 4:17 a.m. this Friday, on Buen Paso Street in the Somosierra district of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) promptly responded to the scene and upon their arrival, they discovered the gentleman was moderately affected by smoke inhalation, without any complications. Consequently, he was transported by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
In addition to the SUC team, members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium quickly arrived at the location to ventilate the property. Local Police and National Police officers were also present to secure the area and collaborate with the other emergency services.
