SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 13th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Provincial Prosecutor’s Office is seeking a sentence of ten and a half years in prison for a man who created and shared inappropriate images of his two underage daughters through various computer applications.
According to reports from Europa Press, the investigation was initiated by the Technological Unit of the National Police following international cooperation efforts to combat child exploitation materials. It was discovered that files containing inappropriate content were being shared through instant messaging platforms.
Investigators found that the accused distributed the inappropriate images to others using mobile phones at his residence and workplace.
Following a court order in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a search was conducted at his home in La Orotava, resulting in the seizure of two computers and a mobile phone used to share the images.
Upon examining the images, investigators found that the man had used his own daughters to create inappropriate content, including explicit photographs stored in a hidden folder on the confiscated computer.
He also filmed two videos of his daughters in compromising situations, either naked or partially clothed, engaging in suggestive acts.
Overall, he stored a total of 97 inappropriate photographs of minors, showing them either nude, in suggestive poses, or being subjected to acts of exploitation, including 53 files, with 41 specifically involving his daughters.
The man is currently out on bail, and the Prosecutor’s Office has charged him with offences related to corruption of minors – including child exploitation materials.
Additionally, they are seeking a six-year ban on him holding positions involving minors, as well as a five-year restraining order from approaching his daughters.
The trial is scheduled for Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Provincial Court.
