“At moments, I felt like we were on the verge of plunging into the Atlantic Ocean.” These were the words shared by vocalist India Martinez during a flight en route to Tenerife for the XXVIII Dial Awards, an annual event that brings together top artists on the island. The ceremony is set to take place on Thursday, March 14, at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds starting from 9:00 p.m.
“I’m not afraid, but during a turbulent flight, numerous thoughts cross your mind,” expressed the Andalusian artist through her social media platforms.
Following this ordeal, she turned towards the philosophy of ‘carpe diem’. “One must live each day as if it were their last.”, relishing every moment, falling in love with a sunrise, a scent, a taste, a song. Embrace, kiss, and celebrate the gift of life, another day granted.”
