Discovering technological solutions that enhance business processes in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere is the goal set in motion by Ashotel through its Accelerate SME Office (Oapyme) with the Wine & Technology initiative, which held its first session yesterday at Bodegas Insulares Tenerife, in collaboration with the Wine Tourism Cluster Canarias. This initial gathering, where local products were also sampled, saw the participation of around thirty SMEs, freelancers, and digitalization agents, with the intervention of Isaac González, Business Developer at Pléyone, a Canarian company whose mission is to enhance business processes through the use of advanced technological solutions.
The session was opened by Juan Pablo González Cruz and Miguel Sánchez, managers of Ashotel and Bodegas Insulares Tenerife respectively. González Cruz explained the inception of the Wine & Technology initiative, following discussions with Hernán Tejera, the Cluster’s manager, highlighting the benefits that collaboration with other sectors, such as the primary sector, brings to the tourism industry, to which they are deeply committed. On the other hand, Sánchez shared the history of these wineries, established in 1992, which source grapes from local vine growers and produce wines under the Tacoronte-Acentejo and Ycoden-Daute-Isora Designations of Origin.
