SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 11th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
In Adeje, Tenerife, a paraglider sustained moderate injuries following an accident, according to the report from the Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident took place on Sunday afternoon in the Morro del Guanche area of the aforementioned municipality. The Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) rescue helicopter was dispatched to airlift the injured individual to the helisurface of the Adeje Volunteer Firefighters.
The Canario Emergency Service (SUC) provided medical attention to the paraglider, who had sustained moderate injuries to the upper and lower limbs. The individual was then safely transported by ambulance to Hospiten Sur for further treatment.
