The troupe contest of the International Carnival of Los Cristianos 2024 treated attendees to an evening filled with captivating rhythms, meticulously crafted choreographies, and a plethora of emotions that reverberated throughout the venue. The Carnival transformed into a grand spectacle of music, dance, and vivid colours.
The gala, hosted by Gracia López and Alberto Castillo, commenced at 9:00 p.m. with electrifying performances by the competing troupes Ritmo Sureño, Carabao Wayana, K’Nadum, and Ay Caramba, dazzling the audience with their choreographic displays.
The event also featured special appearances by the children’s troupe Playeritos, Morocho, and last year’s champions, Comparsa Guajeiros, who kept the audience engaged while the jury deliberated. Ultimately, the K’Nadum troupe was crowned the victor. The mayor of Arona, Fátima Lemes, and the Festival councillor, Alexis Gómez, presented the award to the winners of the Los Cristianos International Carnival 2024 troupe contest.
