Fuertes Group, a leading business conglomerate in Spain and owner of over twenty companies, and Satocan, active in the main sectors of Canary Islands, have come together to purchase the Tenerife Golf Hotel, a 4-star establishment located right by the sea in San Miguel de Abona, previously owned by Tecamira (Vincci Hoteles).

The hotel is situated in one of the best tourist locations in Tenerife, 1,000 meters from Amarilla Golf and Golf del Sur, and five kilometers from Tenerife Sur Airport. The accommodation, with 125 rooms, will undergo a complete renovation including rooms and common areas, scheduled for 2025, aiming to create a tourism concept that highlights the establishment’s virtues and attracts new customer profiles and markets. During this phase, and until the new corporate identity is revealed, it will be known as the Hotel Tenerife Golf & Sea View. The property, retaining its staff of 70 employees, has been managed by Grupo Satocan since the 1st of the previous month.

Fuertes Group. A 100% Spanish capital entity, it encompasses more than 20 companies focused on agribusiness. It has over 8,700 direct employees and 50,000 indirect ones, with a business volume exceeding 2.3 billion Euros in 2022. Through its alliance with Grupo Satocan, Fuertes Group confirms its commitment to diversification. In the past year, it has made real estate and hotel investments that help boost the national tourism sector.

Satocan. In this transaction, it has partnered with a local company, also of family origin and with a 40-year history, Satocan. The Canary Islands business group began its activity in construction and real estate development, leading sectors such as tourism, with hotels and tourist apartments, golf courses, air transport, marinas, shopping centres, underground parking lots, and energy production. A highly diversified group and among the leaders in the Canary Islands, with over 70 companies, almost 900 employees, and the driving force behind the first private Canary investment fund for startups, Archipiélago Next, which supports over 30 technology companies. Recognised and awarded for its sustainable commitment and acknowledged for its social work through its Júnguel Sanjuán Foundation, Satocan has always aimed to grow while committed to the Canary Islands and undertake projects that add value to the islands.

In Grupo Satocan, they have succeeded in giving each complex its own identity considering two fundamental aspects: boosting the environment in which they are located and leading customer satisfaction indices. This has enabled them to certify all their Biosphere complexes and position their hotels in the rankings of the most desired in the world. With the aim of continuing in this direction, they land in San Miguel de Abona, alongside one of the references in the business world in Spain: Fuertes Group.
