Set to take place on Thursday, March 14th at the Guimerá Theater, the afternoon session of “Santa Cruz Technology – Canaauto Group” will kick off at 5:00 p.m. with a series of 20-minute talks focusing on artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, and the challenges faced by humanity.

María Ramírez, the deputy director of elDiario.es and an international correspondent based in the United Kingdom, will be one of the prominent speakers. With a career spanning various renowned media outlets, she is recognised for her insights into the digital transformation of journalism, as detailed in her book ‘El Periódico’ which delves into the global impact of technological advancements.
Pedro Aznar, the director of Applesfera at Webedia, will also share his expertise. His extensive experience in covering Apple-related news has established him as a leading journalist in the field, invited by Apple itself to its product launches and regarded as an authority on the transformative potential of spatial computing.
Another notable speaker, Marta Peirano, a columnist for El País and RNE’s Las mañanas, is recognised for her critical analysis on topics ranging from surveillance capitalism to climate technologies. Her contributions as a journalist and writer have been well-received, with several published books to her name.
Other speakers lined up for the event include Isaac Hernández, the Country Manager of Google Cloud; Pedro Lozano, the co-founder of Imascono and vice president of CEAJE; and Carlos Santana, a popular figure in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Organised by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Development Society and sponsored by Promotur Turismo de Canarias (Government of the Canary Islands) as part of the Next Generation EU Funds, “Tecnológica Santa Cruz – Grupo Canaauto” promises to be an enlightening event.
