SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 4th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canarian Nationalist Parliamentary Group, in line with the Chamber’s Regulations, has called on the Audit of Accounts of the Canary Islands to produce a report urgently to oversee the Government’s actions and management during the covid-19 period.
The nationalists made this request on 20th December 2022 in the Budget and Finance Commission, and its preparation was approved on 17th February 2023.
The Nationalist Group now believes that, “given current events and considering that point 4 of the Action Program of the Audit of Accounts for 2024 includes the preparation of this report”, it should be completed “as soon as possible” to clarify the management of the Canarian Government during the covid-19 pandemic and the 10th Legislature.
