MetroTenerife company and tram personnel have come to a pact on Monday, agreeing to partially lift the strike. The strike will now only take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during specific hours.
The transport company issued a statement indicating the revised schedule for the strike. It will only occur on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 07:00 to 09:25 in the morning and 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at night.
Additionally, they have agreed to establish a monitoring committee comprising three representatives from each party to ensure compliance with the agreements. The committee will be chaired by the current mediator, lawyer Mónica Molina.
The strike by tram workers commenced on February 9th.
