Two Individuals Sustain Injuries in a Road Incident in Tenerife



Two gentlemen, aged 42 and 32, encountered injuries in a road incident that took place this Saturday on the TF-66 motorway, close to the El Palmar roundabout, within the Tenerife borough of Arona, as conveyed by the Emergency Coordination Center and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The occurrence transpired shortly before 2:30 a.m., upon reception of an alert by the 1-1-2 operational unit, stating that a vehicle had encountered a road incident and its occupants necessitated medical aid.

Cecoes promptly activated the essential emergency resources; a basic life support ambulance and a medicalized ambulance from the SUC, Tenerife Firefighters, the Civil Guard, and personnel from the Cabildo’s Road Conservation Service proceeded to the site.

Once present, members of the Fire Consortium secured the damaged vehicles and extricated one of its occupants from the compartment where he was entrapped.

The SUC medical team evaluated and aided the two individuals affected. One was conveyed to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital due to moderate head trauma. The other was transported to the Hospital del Sur with moderate injuries, devoid of any complications.

The Civil Guard conducted the necessary documentation subsequent to the incident, and personnel from the Road Conservation Service undertook road cleanup operations.
