In an accident that occurred in the Tenerife municipality of Garachico, a young man suffered severe injuries on Wednesday when a car veered off the road and plummeted approximately three meters down onto a breakwater. Alongside, another young man was moderately injured, while a third sustained minor injuries.
The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands stated on Thursday that the incident took place around 10:35 p.m. on Wednesday on Avenida Adolfo Suárez in Garachico.
During the accident, a 19-year-old man sustained severe chest injuries and was subsequently transported by a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to Hospital del Norte.
Additionally, a 23-year-old man treated for moderate chest injuries and another individual of the same age with minor back injuries were also taken to the same hospital for further treatment.
