Organised by the Guía de Isora City Council and Bar Parada Chío for charitable purposes, all proceeds from the cycling event were donated to the Canary Foundation Carrera por la Vida/Walk for life.

The event kicked off with great anticipation at 08:00 from Plaza de Chío, with numerous enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the start. The 250 plus cyclists had a challenging 75-kilometer route ahead, crossing three municipalities on the island (Guía de Isora, Santiago del Teide, and Adeje).

Throughout the route, they tackled 3 tough timed mountain passes (Playa de San Juan – Guía de Isora (2.5 km), Chío – Arguayo (4.5 km), and Alcalá – Chío (6.8 km), with Sergio Abreu from El Fogueo Cycling Club of La Gomera claiming victory in 47:35 minutes, and Anna Ternes in 1:04.26 minutes.

In the overall rankings, the first to cross the finish line at Plaza de Chío were Sergio Abreu (4:55:03 minutes), followed by Edgar Magdalena Ramos (4:55:05 minutes) and Diego Martín León (4:55:13 minutes). Among the female participants, the top finishers were Anna Ternes (5:04:38 minutes), Maider Insausti (5:08:54 minutes), and Claudia Burunat Arnay (5:12:31 minutes).

One of the most touching moments of the day was the presentation of the funds raised to the foundation, which works towards meeting the needs of individuals and families affected by breast cancer, in addition to raising awareness about the importance of early detection of the disease.

Attending the prize-giving ceremony were Rosa Elena Dávila Mamel, the president of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Ana Dorta, the mayor of Guía de Isora, Oliver Guerrero, the sports councillor of Guía de Isora, Rafael Delgado, and Brigitte Gypen, the president of the Canary Foundation Carrera por la Vida/Walk for life.
