Severe Condition of a Man after Suffering from Cardiorespiratory Arrest on a Street in Santa Cruz de Tenerife



A 66-year-old gentleman is in a critical state after experiencing cardiorespiratory arrest on a street in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as conveyed by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.

The occurrence took place on Wednesday afternoon, on Avenida José Marti, in the Bº de la Alegría in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a location where personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) promptly responded and found the individual still in cardiorespiratory arrest. They performed basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures upon arrival.

Following successful resuscitation and stabilization, the man was transferred in a critical condition by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.

Additionally, the involvement of the Local Police officers was notable in resolving the incident.
