SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Feb (EUROPA PRESS) –
A man with British nationality was arrested by the General Corps of the Canarian Police, through the Operational Response Group, belonging to the Tenerife Intervention Unit, for possessing 211 grams of marijuana, which were concealed in his vehicle, inside the package of a spare wheel.
The marijuana was discovered during a random Static Control Device, deployed in Playa de la Arena, in the Tenerife municipality of Santiago del Teide.
The detainee was promptly handed over to the Civil Guard post to be made available to the judicial authority. Meanwhile, the Regional Police seized the drug and it remained in custody at police stations until it was sent to the corresponding laboratory for analysis.
