The results of the public vote revealed that the theme for next year’s Puerto de la Cruz International Carnival will be ‘The Fascinating World of Tim Burton’, which secured an overwhelming 67.6% of the votes, amounting to 1,083 out of the 1,614 total votes cast on the Eurocarnaval website www.carnavalpuertodelacruz.es.
This theme clearly triumphed over other contenders, namely ‘The Aztec Empire: Ruta del Dorado’ (127 votes, 7.9%), ‘Journey to the Future’ (203 votes, 12.6%), and ‘Venetian Dream: A Carnival of Masks’ (201 votes, 12.5%).
The 2025 edition of the carnival will feature characters such as Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Willy Wonka, and many more exciting figures. The city is already gearing up to bid farewell to the Eurocarnaval this Friday and Saturday.
